HIGH VIS BACKLIGHTING: Some "raptor" lights can cheapen the look of your 4Runner, but not with this grille replacement! This mesh grille replacement is packed with four 2Banger pods equipped with dual intensity amber backlighting. During the day, the CREE XP-E2 LEDs provide an intense backlight flooding inside the pod, and with the included wiring, this backlight dims via the parking light circuit to act as glare-free nighttime marker lights.
DIRECT SWAP: Morimoto engineers relentlessly designed the grille insert to be a 1:1 swap of the stock grille for a simple remove-and-replace process. The same durable material is used. The factory grille hardware is carried over. For 2020-2024 model years, there is an included center support bracket and spacers to ensure everything lines up just like stock (the mandated radar required some minor changes behind the scenes).
PLUG-AND-PLAY: The fifth-gen 4Runner had three different headlight types, and the included wiring is compatible with all three versions. The grille backlighting is powered by the included fuse tap and is also plug and play with the popular new XB Evo headlights. The provided harness intercepts the headlight's parking light connection with OE grade connections for a quick setup. USEFUL OUTPUT: A combination of yellow SAE Wide and Combo pods provide a helpful distribution of light output on the trails. The Combo beam provides a blend of width and distance illumination making every day driving in the middle of nowhere far more comfortable. The oval hot spot and spread at beam center has been perfectly tuned to produce an ideal flood beam. The SAE Wide beam optics feature dual axis control: 1) for width, and 2) active hot spot control to project peak intensity right along the top of the beam pattern. The proper cutoff line and vertical gradient easily pass the latest SAE F regulation for safe and legal use as a fog light on public roads. The grille allows for 6 degrees +/- for fine tuning the aim.
SHAVED FASCIA COVER: For the maximum in cleanliness, no emblem is required. There are no emblem-centering dimples like both the OEM part and all other aftermarket options. If you do want to add the OE Toyota emblem, using the standard double-sided foam tape is all that's needed. The cover is molded ABS plastic and is painted with a UV-stable matte black finish.
