ACME: Picked up the call from consumers who want a product that meets their expectations but aren't ready to break the bank. Their entry-level gear is the new industry standard that delivers real performance at the right price.
GEN II: The success of the SpeedyStart has brought on a multitude of updates for the new version, turning something that was already good into something even better. They're smaller, more efficient, more reliable, and look cooler than ever!
SPEEDY GONZALES: Has nothin' on the ACME SpeedyStart 35w ballasts when it comes to warm up time. These go zero to full intensity in just 3.5 seconds! So good in fact that we've discontinued the old "FastBright" ballasts in their favor.
SAFE: Their external igniters and high voltage wiring is shielded to help mitigate EMI interference (radio static) so it's unlikely that these ballasts will disturb your afternoon rock block!
NO COMPARISON: When it comes to HID bulbs, Morimoto has always brought us the best in the aftermarket, and their latest examples are no exception. Sure we think the options from Philips and Osram are great too, but when it comes to bang for the buck - nothing compares to the Morimoto XB HID lineup. Compatible with 38w and 55w: The XB's will produce more lumens, last longer, project farther, and look better doing it.
LUMINOSITY: At the heart of the XB bulbs is their perfectly aligned 100% Philips quartz glass that houses a capsule from APL-USA. Using high quality halide salts from German-supplier Messer, the bulbs produce nearly the same lumin Osity (intensity) as the amazing Osram CBI bulbs at 5500K. No, you're not seeing things here, but yes you will be seeing everything at night. In our comparison to the big brands, Morimoto's XB capsule ran with the best of em!
LONG LIFE: The Austrian-sourced Plansee electrodes help keep the bulbs running brighter for longer. In comparison to a Philips bulb with 200 hours of use, the Morimoto will maintain 83% of it's intensity whereas the Philips bulb will retain 86%. Yeah, the Philips maintains a little longer, but this kind of longevity is unheard of in the aftermarket. We're impressed!
PRECISE ALIGNMENT: Morimoto's Symmetry-Structure frame surrounds the base of the glass capsule keeping everything properly lined up, which is paramount when it comes to HID bulbs. In the past we all agreed that precision wasn't the strong suit for the XB bulbs... But the latest are indeed the greatest - and they're now consistently well-aligned, which is a good thing - because it means the output is also consistently bright and uniform throughout.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: Some vehicles are equipped with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or CAN bus which may interfere with the HID kit. If you experience any flickering lights or errors on your dashboard, additional accessories are required. You may need a HID Relay Harness, HID Error Cancellers, or a combination of both. Additionally, if your stock halogen bulb has an adapter that locks it into the headlight housing, you may need replacement Bulb Adapters to fit the HID bulbs. Email Us to see if your vehicle requires additional accessories.
APPLICATION: HID lights are legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. This usage regulation is not unique to our products. All HID lights from all brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.
MORE MODERN: The 14-22 Grand Cherokee has aged gracefully over the last decade, with very little changes needed to keep the Jeep on par with todays best SUVs. A number of updates to the OEM...
GAME CHANGER: The game has just changed, again. If you've got a 2021+ F150 and you paid extra for the OEM LED headlights, well... hind sight hurts doesn't it? If you're thinking about buying...
