ACME: Picked up the call from consumers who want a product that meets their expectations but aren't ready to break the bank. Their entry-level gear is the new industry standard that delivers real performance at the right price.
BIG GUNS: Bring out the big guns! ACME's Arsenal HID Ballasts are a powerhouse. Making 75w of mosquito-melting power, this 75w HID kit should be reserved for the back roads only!
POWER: With power comes great responsibility, and for that reason we really only recommend using this 75w HID kit in OEM headlights or auxiliary spot lights. We do not recommend them for aftermarket headlights or fog lights due to their small size.
SETUP: Drawing over 9A on start up, you must run the ACME Arsenal HID Ballasts with a dual-relay wire harness to ensure reliable function. They are not compatible with vehicles with canbus systems and/or automatic headlights.
BULBS: Most companies will use standard 35/55w HID bulbs with their 75w HID ballasts which results in bulbs burning out in 3-4 months. Not us! We matched the Acme Arsenal HID ballasts with our Stattus 75w HID bulbs that were designed from the ground up to handle the power. Our bulbs only come in 5000K Pure White to give you maximum light output. The HID bulbs may come labeled 8000K instead of of 5000K, do not worry, you received the correct bulbs.
INSTALL: The Stattus HP 75w HID Kit is designed to be plug and play with all vehicles. You simply replace your stock halogen bulbs with the HID bulbs in your headlight housing, connect the HID bulbs to the HID ballasts, connect the power wire to your stock harness, and secure the HID ballasts to the vehicle. However, we strongly recommend adding a HID Relay Harness so that you don't run into flickering issues due to a lack of power.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES: Some vehicles are equipped with PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) or CAN bus which may interfere with the HID kit. If you experience any flickering lights or errors on your dashboard, additional accessories are required. You may need a HID Relay Harness, HID Error Cancellers, or a combination of both. Additionally, if your stock halogen bulb has an adapter that locks it into the headlight housing, you may need replacement Bulb Adapters to fit the HID bulbs. Email Us to see if your vehicle requires additional accessories.
APPLICATION: HID lights are legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in ATV, snowmobile, and off-road racing use. This usage regulation is not unique to our products. All HID lights from all brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.
